Who we are

An IT partner that works beside your team

NILE.COM was founded in Egypt in 1999 as a small, privately owned company selling hardware and software and providing technical services. From the start we had a clear plan: to become one of the most trusted players in communications and information technology. Within ten years, after expanding and relocating twice, that plan became reality.

We built specialised teams that measure success by two things: customers who are satisfied, and vendor partners whose objectives we meet. Those teams deliver every project side by side with our customers’ own people, on time and on budget, and stay on afterwards with support when it is needed.

Whether the task is a simple purchase request or a disaster recovery site with a full business continuity plan, we aim to exceed our customers’ expectations. That is the principle behind our motto, and it guides our work every day.

Nile-Srv software

Nile-Srv is our software arm. It builds business applications for e-invoicing and e-receipt compliance, CRM, HR and service desks.

Karim Soliman

Chief executive officer (CEO)

Strategic technology executive with over 25 years of progressive leadership in the banking, payments, IT and digital transformation sectors. Recognised as one of the foundational contributors to Egypt’s payment core infrastructure — with EBC 123 marking a key milestone in the local fintech ecosystem.

Karim has held influential positions at CIB and IBM, where he deepened his expertise in enterprise IT, payments innovation and cloud infrastructure. Today he leads NILE.COM as CEO, spearheading national-scale initiatives in bill payments, channel aggregation for retail and IT managed services — notably for Egypt’s tourism digitalization project — with deep expertise in digital security and cybersecurity across the public and private sectors.
